Mochiko Chicken

Ingredients

  • Servings: 7
  • 5 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
  • 1 cup white rice flour
  • 1/3 cup cornstarch
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons salt
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup chopped green onions
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 5 eggs
  • oil for frying

Recipe

  • in a large bowl combine the flour, cornstarch, soy sauce, salt, sugar, green onions, garlic, cayenne pepper and eggs. mix well. add the chicken and marinate for 24 hours, refrigerated.
  • remove from refrigerator, deep fry and serve.
