Mochiko Chicken
Ingredients
- Servings: 7
- 5 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
- 1 cup white rice flour
- 1/3 cup cornstarch
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1 1/2 tablespoons salt
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 cup chopped green onions
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 5 eggs
- oil for frying
Recipe
- in a large bowl combine the flour, cornstarch, soy sauce, salt, sugar, green onions, garlic, cayenne pepper and eggs. mix well. add the chicken and marinate for 24 hours, refrigerated.
- remove from refrigerator, deep fry and serve.
