Delicious Baked Chicken

Total Time: 1 hr 5 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 (3 lb) broiler-fryer chickens, cut-up
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon ground mustard
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper

Recipe

  • 1 place chicken in a greased 13x 9 x 2 inch baking dish.
  • 2 in a saucepan, whisk flour and water until smooth.
  • 3 stir in brown sugar, ketchup, vinegar, lemon juice and worcestershire sauce.
  • 4 bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened.
  • 5 stir in the remaining ingredients.
  • 6 pour over chicken.
  • 7 cover and refrigerate for 2-4 hours.
  • 8 remove from the refrigerator 30 minutes before baking.
  • 9 bake, uncovered, at 350 for 35-45 minutes or until chicken juices run clear.
