East Asian Style Bbq Chicken (or Broil)

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 (14 ounce) can low sodium chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons light soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 3 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed dry chili pepper (more or less it's up to you)
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts

Recipe

  • 1 mix together the broth, soy, sugar, garlic 1 tbsp vinegar (this was missed in the ingredient list) & chili pepper.
  • 2 save 1/2 cup of the marinade.
  • 3 place the remaining marinade in a zip lock plastic bag or a bowl large enough to hold the chicken.
  • 4 place chicken in the marinade seal (cover) and place in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
  • 5 remove from marinade grill or broil the chicken approx 20-30 minutes o until the chicken is cooked, baste at least twice with the reserved marinade, turn while basting.
  • 6 heat remaining marinade and serve with the chicken.
