East Indian Chicken

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 green pepper, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cups skinless chicken, cooked diced chicken
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons curry powder
  • 1 (28 ounce) can whole tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 2 cups rice, cooked

Recipe

  • 1 cook onion, pepper and garlic in oil until tender, about 3 minute.
  • 2 add remaining ingredients, except rice, cook over low heat for 30 minute.
  • 3 serve over rice.
