Chicken & Dumplings

Total Time: 3 hrs Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 2 hrs 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 whole chicken
  • 1 tablespoon parsley
  • biscuit dough
  • salt and pepper

Recipe

  • 1 cook whole chicken for about 1 hour or until tender, covering chicken with water.
  • 2 add shredded parsley, salt and pepper to taste.
  • 3 remove chicken.
  • 4 use biscuit dough rolled out and cut into diamond shape or 1½â€? to 2â€? squares.
  • 5 or you can drop the dumplings made with about a tablespoon of dough into boiling water where chicken has been cooked.
  • 6 cover and simmer for about 10 minutes.
  • 7 add cut up chicken or stuff whole chicken with dressing.
  • 8 bake in oven for about one hour at approximately 350 degrees.
