Chicken Fried Steak

Ingredients

- 1 1/2-2 lbs cube steaks
- salt and pepper
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 cups finely crushed saltine crackers
- cooking oil
Recipe
- 1 season each steak on both sides with salt and pepper, rubbing it into the meat.
- 2 in a shallow dish, beat the eggs.
- 3 place the flour and cracker crumbs in 2 separate pie plates.
- 4 one at a time, dredge the steaks in the flour, then dip in the egg, then coat with the cracker crumbs.
- 5 in a large heavy skillet, heat the oil over low heat.
