Chicken With Apples

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
  • 1 large apple (i use a fuji apple)
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup wine
  • 1 teaspoon thyme

Recipe

  • 1 pan fry chicken in half of butter, turning once.
  • 2 remove from pan.
  • 3 add the rest of the butter, add the apples and fry till they start to turn lightly brown.
  • 4 remove from pan (may be put with the chicken).
  • 5 deglaze the pan with the wine, scraping all the bits off the bottom.
  • 6 season with thyme.
  • 7 add the cream.
  • 8 cook till slightly thickened.
  • 9 return chicken and apple to the pan to reheat.
  • 10 serve and enjoy!
