Easy Chicken And Dumplings

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • easy chicken 'n dumplings
  • 1 lb boneless cooked chicken (or any chicken pieces)
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 (10 count) can biscuits
  • 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon parsley
  • salt and pepper

Recipe

  • 1 bring skinless chicken (breast and thigh meat pieces are best) to boil in 4 cups water. add seasonings, cover and simmer until meat is (approximately 1 hour). remove chicken to platter to cool. (strain broth; if chicken not boned.) remove meat from bone and place into broth. simmer on low while adding 1 inch torn pieces of biscuit dough into chicken and broth. after all dough is added, bring to boil, stirring constantly, then cover and place on low heat for 10-15 minutes or until thickened.
