Easy Chicken Soft Tacos (rotisserie Chicken)

Total Time: 10 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 rotisserie-cooked chicken
  • 2 (7 ounce) cans herdez salsa verde (or other brand)
  • 1 (15 ounce) can black beans or 1 (15 ounce) can pinto beans
  • 1 cup shredded mexican blend cheese
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons mexican seasoning
  • 12 corn tortillas

Recipe

  • 1 remove skin and bones from chicken and discard.
  • 2 tear chicken into bite-sized pieces.
  • 3 place in a medium skillet with salsa verde and seasoning.
  • 4 cook over medium heat for 5 minutes or until warmed.
  • 5 spoon chicken into heated tortillas and top with beans and cheese.
  • 6 serve with additional toppings if desired. (sour cream, cilantro, tomato, guacamole).
