Creamy Horseradish Chicken

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 cup half-and-half
  • 3 tablespoons horseradish
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon wine vinegar
  • 2 -3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Recipe

  • 1 lightly brown chicken breast in a little olive oil and set aside.
  • 2 in medium saucepan melt butter, add flour and stir 1 minute.
  • 3 stir in 1/2& 1/2, horseradish, sour cream, sugar, dijon mustard and vinegar and 1/2 the parsley.
  • 4 place chicken in sprayed baking dish and top with half the horseradish sauce.
  • 5 bake in pre-heated 350 degree oven for 40 minutes.
  • 6 re-heat the remaining sauce with parsley added and serve with chicken.
