Chicken Paprika

Total Time: 1 hr 5 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 55 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 -8 chicken thighs
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1/4 cup bacon, chopped (or butter or both)
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • salt
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons flour

Recipe

  • 1 skin thighs.
  • 2 wilt onion in bacon or butter.
  • 3 add paprika, chicken, and salt; brown.
  • 4 add water and simmer till tender (about 45 min.).
  • 5 remove chicken from pan.
  • 6 mix sour cream and flour thoroughly.
  • 7 stir sour cream mixture carefully into pan.
  • 8 strain over chicken.
  • 9 serve over rice or noodles or dumplings.
