Drew's Marinade And Tenderizer

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon dry sherry (drinking kind-not cooking sherry)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

Recipe

  • 1 add all ingredients, except baking soda, and mix.
  • 2 add baking soda and mix.
  • 3 it will begin to froth, and that's normal.
  • 4 place meat (beef, chicken, lamb, venison) in resealable plastic bag and refrigerate for 20 minutes up to several hours.
  • 5 grill or stir-fry meats.
  • 6 note: do not leave meat in marinade overnight, as it will soften and flavor meats too much.
