Chicken Soy Sauce With Onion

Ingredients

- 8 chicken thighs
- 2 cups chopped onions
- 1/3 cup reduced sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 cup water
Recipe
- 1 heat a 12-inch skillet one minute over medium-high heat; add thighs skin down.
- 2 cook 10-12 minutes.
- 3 turn and cook 8-10 minutes longer until browned.
- 4 transfer chicken to a plate.
- 5 remove all but 1 tbsp drippings from skillet.
- 6 add onion.
- 7 reduce heat to medium-low; cook stirring for 12 minutes until onions are tender.
- 8 return chicken to skillet; pour soy sauce and water over chicken and onions.
- 9 cover; simmer for 15 minutes.
- 10 transfer chicken to plate with slotted spoon.
- 11 cook sauce 1 minute more.
- 12 pour over top of chicken.
