Ingredients
- 1 cup uncooked rice
- 1 cup yellow onion, chopped
- 1 cup olive oil
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup pine nuts
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 3 scallions, chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh mint
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon allspice
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 3/4 cup lemon juice
- leafy greens
Recipe
- 1 combine all ingredients (first 12). with a 16 oz jar of grape leaves, remove stems, place shiny side down and wrap 1 tbsp of mixture in leaf. layer in a pot along w/ leafy greens & simmer in stock & lemon juice 1 hour. allow to cool before transfering.
