Chive Sauce For Steak

Total Time: 10 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons chives, chopped or 3 tablespoons shallots, minced or 3 tablespoons green onions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons cognac
  • 3 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons beef broth or 2 teaspoons chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Recipe

  • 1 heat skillet over medium high heat. add chives and cook about 10 seconds. add cognac and stir.
  • 2 add parsley, mustard, and worcestershire sauce. add beef (or chicken) broth and stir.
  • 3 swirl in 1 tablespoon butter and serve.
