Chicken In Gravy

Ingredients

• 1/3 cup flour
• salt and pepper
• 1 teaspoon paprika
• 3 lbs chicken pieces (i use thighs, bone in)
• 3 tablespoons butter
• 5 tablespoons flour
• 1 -4 tablespoon butter
• 4 cups water
• salt and pepper

Recipe

• 1 put flour,salt,pepper and paprika in a plastic bag.
• 2 shake to mix.
• 3 put in damp chicken pieces 2 at a time, shake to coat.
• 4 put into heated butter in a frying pan.
• 5 brown both sides.
• 6 transfer to small casserole dish.
• 7 gravy-------------.
• 8 stir flour into fat in pan, adding butter to mix if needed.
• 9 add water stirring until boiling, should be fairly thin, it will thicken in casserole dish.
• 10 pour over chicken.
• 11 cover and bake in 350f for 1 hour or until tender.
• 12 season if needed.
